Speedclad delivered the design, supply and installation contract for the curtain walling and glazing on this extensive and exciting new retail, leisure and tourism destination in the Nene Valley.
The Rushden Lakes development in Northamptonshire delivers a "naturally different" experience. Phase One of this £140 million scheme combines 380,000 sq. ft. of shops with waterfront restaurants, boathouse and lakeside visitor centre, whilst also restoring public access to the network of lakes and the addition of water-based facilities for community use. Further phases of this development will include a 12-screen cinema complex, bowling alley and additional facilities.
Speedclad's contract at Rushden Lakes sees a continuation of repeat work from key client, Winvic Construction. Early involvement enabled Speedclad to work closely with all interested parties to develop a design and operational plan that was cost effective and would facilitate the programme, while our installation teams and site management ensured that there was on-going communication and coordination throughout the build phase to maintain effectiveness across this extensive site.
