Stunning mesh cladding facade nears completion at the National Automotive Innovation Centre
Speedclad is nearing completion of the installation of the expanded mesh cladding facade at the NAIC development at the University of Warwick, and these latest shots show just how impressive the finished building will be.
Key client, Balfour Beatty Construction, engaged Speedclad to deliver the design, supply and installation cladding contract, in excess of £2.6 million, on this new centre for world-leading research. Our early involvement in this scheme enabled us to work closely with our client, and supply chain partners BENCHMARK by Kingspan, to develop a design that not only presented significant savings but that also maximises the impact of this staggering facade.
Speedclad's team have achieved fantastic results with the Longhi anodised and expanded concave and convex mesh cladding across this immense building. The joint venture between the University of Warwick, WMG, Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors is setting a new standard for schemes of its type and we are very proud to be involved.
