Innovative mesh cladding commences at the National Automotive Innovation Centre
Speedclad has started installation of the expanded mesh cladding facade at the NAIC development at the University of Warwick and this early completed work already gives an indication of how striking the finished facade will be.
Key client, Balfour Beatty Construction, engaged Speedclad to deliver the design, supply and installation cladding contract, in excess of £2.6 million, on this new centre for world-leading research. Our early involvement in this scheme enabled us to work closely with our client, and supply chain partners BENCHMARK by Kingspan, to develop a design that not only presented significant savings but that also maximises the impact of this staggering facade. This first run of completed work provides a preview of how the Longhi anodised and expanded concave and convex mesh cladding will look across this immense building.
